CDI is launching a new Vessel Inspection Type on the 15th August 2025This is aimed at bringing into CDI, China registered vessels that are solely engaged in “China Domestic Trade” (CDT).
Several CDI chemical companies charter a considerable number of Chemical and LPG tankers in particular, that are so called “Chinese Domestic Trading” (CDT) and these chemical companies are expanding their work within China and requiring Marine Assurance from CDI for these specific vessels. Using the existing 10th Edition Ship Inspection Report (SIR), these chemical companies have requested CDI to develop a new vessel inspection type, exclusive for China Domestic Trading vessels that are restricted to only trade in China.
